There is an increasing number of women who quit their jobs to be full time housewives. Circumstances dictate this growing trend. But what if, these moms finally decides that its time to go back to work?
There are ways to turn these absence into an asset. You just have to know what to do with it. When you write your resume, you are not obliged to explain why you haven’t been employed for a number of years. you rather focus on your skills and what you can possibly do for the company if ever you are hired for the job. Being truthful is the best policy. But never bring up in your resume any instance of why you have to quit the job and stay home. Sell your skills. Bring them up and explain the benefits your previous company enjoy from your work. These are simple guidelines for you to be aware of so you can put yourself apart from the rest of the herd.
